Cry tracking Premium

When crying starts, a soothing sound fades in.

Leave your phone near the cot. When crying lasts a few seconds, the sound you chose fades in softly for as long as you set, then cry tracking listens again. In the morning, a calm summary shows what was heard.

Morning summary of a night: crying, babbling and soothing sound on a timeline Cry tracking screen: listening for crying, with the chosen soothing sound Cry tracking week view: crying minutes per night
  1. Listens

While cry tracking is on, sound is analysed on your phone.

  2. Soothes

After a few seconds of crying, your chosen sound fades in.

  3. Notes

Babbling, laughter, whimpering, coughs, sneezes and hiccups are noted too.

  • Morning summary of the night
  • Day, week and month views
  • Sensitivity you choose: low, normal or high

Analysed on your phone. No audio is recorded, stored or sent.

Cry tracking is not a baby monitor or a medical or safety device. It can miss sounds or mistake other sounds for crying, and it does not replace watching over your child.

Parent mode: hear your baby from your own phone.

We're working on parent mode. Pair a second phone with a QR code, get an alert when your baby cries and listen live from anywhere — on Wi-Fi or mobile data. The audio will be end-to-end encrypted and not stored.

Parent mode isn't available yet, and details may change before it is. How it will handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

Every night

Small tools for the bedtime routine.

Sleep timer

A long timer with a gentle fade.

Pick 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes — or, with Premium, any length up to 11 h 59 min, for the whole night. When time is up, the sounds fade out over 30 seconds and stop, even with the screen locked.

  • Gentle 30-second fade
  • Keeps running with the screen locked

Your mixes Premium

Save the mix that works.

Give a mix a name — “Bedtime”, “Nap time” — and play it again from the home screen, one card per mix. From the lock screen, skip between your saved mixes without opening the app.

  • Your own names, one tap to play
  • Skip between mixes on the lock screen

Lock screen: skip between your saved mixes

  • A greeting for the hour

Good evening, or good night — with your name, if you like. It stays on your phone.

  • Sunset or dark

Warm sunset colours, or a near-black theme for the darkest rooms.

  • Seven languages

English, Türkçe, Español, Português (Brasil), Deutsch, Français, 日本語.

Privacy

Your baby's nights stay on your phone.

Luleep Kids doesn't ask for an account, shows no ads and doesn't track you for advertising; usage statistics are shared only if you say yes. What cry tracking notices — and your name, if you enter one — stays on this phone and isn't included in Android backups. You can delete the nights anytime.

  • No account

    Nothing to sign up for.

  • No ads

Not now, not at 3 a.m.

  • No ad tracking

No advertising ID. Usage stats only if you say yes.

  • Nights stay on your phone

    No audio is ever recorded.

If the app crashes, a technical crash report (phone model, Android and app version, error log) is sent to Google Firebase so we can fix the problem. Usage statistics (for example which sounds and scenes are used) are sent only if you agree when the app asks. Neither ever includes your name, audio or your night log, and you can turn both off in Settings.

When can I get Luleep Kids?

Luleep Kids is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. We'll update this page on launch day.

Who is Luleep Kids for?

For parents. You use it on your phone to help your little one settle at bedtime; it isn't an app for children to use.

Is Luleep Kids free?

You can start free with the night light and mobile scenes, the sleep timer and mixing two sounds at once; the lullaby and heartbeat will be free when they arrive. Premium adds all the other sounds, unlimited mixing, custom timer lengths, five more scenes, saved mixes and cry tracking.

Does cry tracking record my baby?

No. While cry tracking is on, Luleep Kids uses the microphone and analyses sound on your phone. No audio is recorded, stored or sent. Only the time and kind of sound heard (crying, babbling and similar) are kept on your phone, and you can delete them anytime. If you allow usage statistics, only rough counts for the night are shared — never audio. A notification shows the whole time it listens.

Is Luleep Kids a baby monitor?

No. Cry tracking is not a baby monitor or a medical or safety device. It can miss sounds or mistake other sounds for crying, and it does not replace watching over your child.

What is parent mode?

A feature we're working on: pair a second phone with a QR code to get an alert when your baby cries and listen live from anywhere. It isn't available yet.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. The sounds, the night light and cry tracking all work on your phone, in airplane mode too.

Will sounds keep playing when the screen is off?

Yes. Sounds, the sleep timer and cry tracking keep working with the screen locked, and you can control playback from the lock screen.

Does Luleep Kids collect any data?

Only a little, and never your name, mix names, audio or your night log. There's no account, no ads and no advertising ID. If the app crashes, a technical crash report (phone model, Android and app version, error log) is sent so we can fix it. On first launch the app asks whether to share usage statistics (which screens, sounds and scenes are used, whether cry tracking was started and rough counts); nothing is sent unless you say yes. You can turn crash reports and usage statistics off in Settings at any time.

How is it different from Luleep?

Luleep is for your own nights: calm night sounds and on-device sleep tracking for grown-ups. Luleep Kids is for your little one's bedtime: baby sounds, a night light and cry tracking, in warm sunset colours. They're separate apps.

Which languages does it speak?

English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, French and Japanese.

For your own nights: Luleep

Rain, waves, a slow crackling fire — ten night sounds you can mix, with sleep tracking that runs on your phone.
